The two-bedrooms climb from the Maple (roughly 1,009 to 1,067 square feet) up through the Bradford, the Laurel at 1,463, and the Willow, the largest of the set at 1,490. Every plan is a full two-bath in the two-bedroom tier, and the two bedrooms are set apart from each other rather than stacked side by side.

Inside, the kitchens are open to the living space and come with upgraded cabinetry and appliances. The apartments include spacious walk-in closets and a full-size washer and dryer in the unit, not the stackable half-size machines that pass for laundry in a lot of rentals. Most floor plans include a private patio or balcony, which is where the mountain views pay off. A resident writing at length about her own apartment praised the oversized shower and bathtub, the ceiling fans, the volume of windows, and the sheer size of the closets, along with the stainless steel appliances and the counters.

One detail that comes up more than once is the private entrance to each unit. There are no shared hallways, elevators, or stairwells to negotiate; you walk from outside directly into your own home. Residents also note the efficiency of the mechanical systems, including heat pumps that keep electric bills manageable, and the generous exterior lighting between the buildings after dark.

Amenities and grounds

The shared amenities are the standard luxury-rental kit, executed for a small mountain-town community. There is a resident pool positioned to take in the views, a clubhouse for gatherings, and a fitness center. The property is pet-friendly, a point The Vue makes a genuine part of its identity rather than a grudging exception, and the apartments run large enough to actually live in with a dog or two.

The grounds are still maturing, and residents have singled out the landscaping going in around the buildings as something that makes the place feel more settled and more like home. It is worth setting expectations plainly: The Vue is positioned as luxury apartment living, and the pricing reflects that. The residents who recommend it tend to frame the cost as the price of admission for a spacious, well-run apartment in a town they didn't want to leave.
